The Hamrick Group is expanding into Washington, DC and will open its second office at 1629 K Street, NW, Suite 300 (see "Contact Us" for the full address and phone numbers).  This expansion will allow The Hamrick Group's clients in the Washington area a more convenient location at which to meet with Mr. Hamrick.  The new site features plenty of available parking, and conference rooms that can hold up to 15 people.  The Hamrick Group will continue operating its original office in Gaithersburg, MD.

Hamrick Adds Maryland Bar License

On June 17, 2009, the Court of Appeals of Maryland admitted Steven J. Hamrick, Founding Member of The Hamrick Group, as an Attorney of the Court, and permitted him to practice law in the courts of Maryland.  This action allows Mr. Hamrick to represent clients in Maryland courts and agencies.  Mr. Hamrick retains his membership in the attorney bar of Washington, DC.

Two-Year Rate Lock-In

The Hamrick Group is pleased to announce its two-year rate lock-in plan. Pursuant to this plan, new clients of The Hamrick Group are charged at their initial hourly rates for their first two years as clients.  "The nation's economic woes have clearly affected everyone, and freezing our rates at current levels for two years is one way that we are helping those who need legal assistance," said Steven J. Hamrick, Founding Member of The Hamrick Group.

Discounts for U.S. Military

Active and retired members of the United States military are afforded hourly rate discounts when they become clients of The Hamrick Group.  "It's our honor to serve those who serve us," said Steven J. Debt, Not Divorce, is Best Predictor of Bankruptcy

An essay in The Atlantic magazine (republished in part in the Dallas Morning News) cites debt, and not divorce, as the best predictor of bankruptcy.  If you are involved in, or contemplating, divorce, let The Hamrick Group defend your financial interests while you handle the inevitable emotional issues.  Don't make decisions based on your emotions - allow a professional to protect your interests.
